Minefields

  • Minefields can be laid by level 2 frigate class ship hulls equipped with a minelayer module and enough ordnance
  • After a minefield has been laid its density gradually decreases until it's gone
  • Enemy fleets passing through a minefield will likely be damaged or destroyed
  • Fleets moving in a system can't be damaged by a minefield covering that system
  • A player's own fleets - and those of their allies - have safe passage through their own minefields
