As of Alpha 3: This is a new building that adjusts the maximum fleets a player may operate at any one time. See the table below, each building adds its value to the total fleets they can play. If the Building is lost in combat or shut down by rioting population or similar the capacity is temporarily removed. Unless you have spare capacity in your fleet count none of your shipyards will allow you to start building a ship.

Warning! If you loose fleet capacity while ships are under construction and do not restore it before they complete the total ships build will fail. (Speaking from personal experience here! All resources were also lost - though that might have been a bug?)

  • Level: the tech-level
  • Upgrade: whether the control center can be upgraded
  • Fleets: How many fleets a control center can support
  • Personnel: number of colonists required to operate (contributes to employment)
  • Desirability: effect on colony happiness
  • PC (Power Consumption MWt): amount of colony power required
  • Be (Beron): cost in beron
  • Credits: cost in credits
  • Build: build time in seconds
